Somehow, in the past forty-eight hours, we've managed to squeeze in both lake and ocean, cousins and friends, boating and eating, all with a healthy dose of fireworks and s'mores mixed in. My children are exhausted (and filthy), and it's the best kind of exhaustion (and filth) to witness. Hours spent in the water, and running slightly wild with gaggle of children. True summer, I tell you. True blue summer.
