It all began with a dream.....A dream of living in an old farmhouse, growing & raising much of what we ate, and making things from scratch. Learning to can and preserve our homegrown harvest and chasing around after a flock of chickens with attitudes was what we longed for. Homemade bread, warm winter fires, a garden full of goodies, goats, chickens, bees.....all in the dream. By 2013, what had started as a personal venture had grown into a thriving small business, as family and friends responded enthusiastically to the farm-fresh natural soap & skincare. Motivated by the consistently positive feedback, we began selling our products online as well as at local craft shows and farmers markets.
We took the leap to go after our BIG dream on a new path --- making a living doing what we love most. We are a small-batch, farm-fresh soap & skincare company handcrafting our artisanal products at the foothills of the Adirondacks in Upstate NY. Our farm is the headquarters for the entire Cobble Hill Farm Apothecary operation where we research, formulate and create all of our products. We are truly blessed to be able to make a living doing what we love while jumping into a sustainable farm life.
Although our Company continues to expand rapidly, our original values remain at the forefront: high-quality natural products full of farm-fresh ingredients, created by our very own hands, and are safe for the entire family to use. We are a Veteran -Owned company whose products are proudly American Made.

SouleMama: Since the last time you were featured on SouleMama, in what ways has your business grown or changed? Is there anything new you'd like to tell us about?
Staci: We are SO excited about our new manufacturing space!!! We've discussed, for about a year, the possibility of turning one of the outbuildings on our property into the company's headquarters/manufacturing facility and our dream is finally becoming a reality! We've begun the renovation and anticipate the completion to be June of 2018. It will house our manufacturing, back stock, curing, and shipping portions of our business. We'll be able to purchase larger equipment which means we'll be able to make our products in much larger quantities. And this also means less "out-of-stocks" which we are incredibly happy about.
