Greetings from WoolyMossRoots!    

Hello! We're the Wilsons and WoolyMossRoots is our family business. We're based in Oregon and are so grateful to be able to work from home and make things for a living. Jeff is the woodworker and I (Taryn) run our online shop, taking pictures of all his beautiful wooden creations, and helping with various parts of the process. We sell what we make at festivals, a handful of shops, and online. In our online shop you can find artisan buttons, shawl pins, wooden jewelry, and cedar garden and homestead signs. You can stay up to date with shop updates, and enjoy other bits of seasonal inspiration, when you join us on the blog. 

SouleMama: Since the last time you were featured on SouleMama, in what ways has your business grown or changed? Is there anything new you'd like to tell us about? 

Taryn: A big change for us is that fact that we just let go of the local market we had been doing for over ten years, since the very beginning of our business. We're grateful for the opportunity it gave us to start our own business and shape it over the years, for all we learned during that time, and for all the amazing people we met and connected with there. And now we're excited about what this change means for us! We will now be able to focus our energies on festivals, our wholesale accounts, and our online shop. (Be sure to look for us at Stitches West in Santa Clara in February if you're there!) 

We love working with designers and have been delighted to provide the buttons for some of Susan B. Anderson's new kits! (The Gigi Cardigan kit has already sold out, but you can enter your e-mail there to be informed when more are available, and WoolyMossRoots buttons will be available with the Roger Cardigan kit any day now!) All of the pictures here feature Annie's beautiful Meadowsweet Sleep Sack and Bonnet pattern with WoolyMossRoots buttons. (Thanks Annie for giving us your blessing to use these pictures here!) Our shop is full of buttons right now (and new jewelry!) and hopefully you'll find something that will work for your next project, but if you don't feel free to contact us about a custom order. Jeff makes lots of custom buttons for special projects and you can choose your wood preference, size, and more. If you want custom buttons in time for holiday gifts be sure to give us your order soon!
