The holiday gatherings have begun! This weekend we hosted my extended family for our annual party with loads of cousins, gobs of sugar, plenty of music and so much love and laughter. Today is all about the slow clean up while lingering in my mind a bit at the memories from the day and year's past. What a joy it is to watch my little ones playing and growing alongside the children of the cousins I grew up playing with. And of course, each and every moment of it all infused with thoughts of the grandparents who are no longer with us, but always are in spirit.
