This weekend had all the elements of a favorite weekend for me - antiquing with a friend, lots of cozy hearthside games and stories, all of mine - and some extras - at the dinner table each night, and knitting! I feel full up as I start this busy week from all of that real simple goodness. I finished my Beeswax Hat, since it appears as though winter is not done with us (NorEaster tomorrow? First day of spring? Why not!). I love, love, love this hat, though not until I went to look for the link to the pattern for you just now did I realize that my ribbing is totally off! I have no idea how I did that, but since it didn't bother me before, I'm going to stick with that and promptly forget about it. And I wouldn't mind making another, to get it just right. I think this is a hat that Steve would wear too, and he's due a hat from his wife soon. The yarn is from my trip to Brooklyn, from String Thing Studio, and is by Backyard Fiberworks - I loved knitting with this!
Wishing everyone a wonderful start to your week!
