Not that either of us needed one, but regardless, Ani and I both got new hats this week and we're pretty happy about that. The holiday break found us with lots of fireside moments (both the one inside and the one by the ice skating pond!).
Mine is a favorite pattern - the Butterfly Hat, and I knit it in my yarn (I'm pretty sure that's Cinnamon's fiber!). Ani's hat is the Barley hat pattern, though you can't quite tell in those photos because she has the garter ridge twisted around towards the back. The yarn is leftover from her Tea Leaves sweater, which she thinks means she needs to wear them together, as a set. And I think that's pretty adorable. Just like her.
